These are sooo freaking cute! Normally I’m not a huge fan of white shoes, but these I would get. Do you like white shoes?
In other news, I’m so busy the next few months I will only be posting once a week and I’ll apologize now for being MIA! Let me know if you find any shoe deals, I’ll post them and credit you for the find. Deal?
Happy Memorial Day weekend!
Tommy Hilfiger Venitia - white or gold $90…but $50 on Ideeli, $60 on Amazon, and $70 at Macy’s!
BCBG Wedgy Wedges. BCBG makes some of my favorite shoes. I love how they fit and they are always edgy, unique, and chic! If you don’t have any shoes by them, I highly recommend them! If you have narrow feet, this is a great brand to try as I find they run more narrow than other brands.
BCBGeneration Cayden – black or dark brown $115…but $50 on Ideeli, $68 on Amazon, $55 at Lord & Taylor if you’re a size 6.5!
Sexy scarlet pumps. Every woman needs a pair of red pumps. (I don’t have any though technically…shh) I love the pointy toe, ankle strap, and especially that little shiny gold plate. Cute in all colors. I think you will feel powerful in these, which seems to be why they are named Palace. If you wear these, you belong in a palace. I like that.
Fergie Palace- red, black, nude, or camel $120…but $50 on Ideeli, $90 for the red at Famous Footwear but only $68 in the other colors, $62-90 on Amazon depending on size/color, $90 on Macy’s, $85 at Heels.com!
Whoa! Happy SITS Day! Thank you for the feature The SITS Girls: Where Women Get Social! I’ve waited so long! Welcome sisters~ I’m obsessed with Twitter and I’d love to check out your blogs too!
Shoes of the day from one of my favorite shoe designers, Betsey Johnson! I’m not sure how they got the name “Bebopp” because they don’t look very robotic to me…buuuttt it’s a super cute name and it reminds me of Spongebob’s Mr. Krabbs. I’m wearing some black wedges from Mia girl that are very similar, I’ll post a pic of them on Instagram later!
Betsey Johnson Bebopp $130…but $70 on Ideeli & $81 on 6pm!
Thanks for all the love after sharing my story – it wasn’t easy to share and means a lot to me. I feel encouraged to share more! If you missed it, read it here: My Story.
I am a girl. Woman. Domestic violence and PTSD survivor.
My relationship with shoes started after I left an abusive relationship and bought my first pair of heels (Financial Abuse meant I was not allowed to purchase anything like clothing or shoes for myself, even with my own money).
I had less than $200 to my name when I left, moved to a new state, and needed to find a job. I had this dress, but no shoes. How was I going to interview without shoes?
Shoes can be surprisingly important.
Not really knowing how to shop anymore, I went from store to store, looking for the right shoe, but not finding it. I stumbled into a Macy’s and headed straight to the Clearance rack. I saw them. Black peep-toes, not too high not too low, and with a little edge—metal hardware on the sides—and they fit my foot perfectly, like Cinderella. They were $80 originally, but 50% off. Lucky! I went up to the register, still a bit anxious about paying $40, the clerk rang them up…
“Your total is $15 even,” he said. Fifteen dollars? I had to ask for the price again just to make sure I heard him right. I did. And so began my passion for shoe deals…
Every woman should feel invincible.
That was my first Shoe Therapy experience. In those shoes, for the first time in my life I felt powerful, beautiful, and strong. My heels helped me walk away from abuse forever. Heels helped heal me and redefine myself and identity (along with real therapy, support groups, and study).
Every woman deserves to wear high quality heels she loves, no matter her income, because every woman should feel invincible. Maybe it’s red lipstick or a tailored suit for you, but it’s high heels for me.
I know finding the right shoe can sound superficial and unimportant in the scheme of life, but it made all the difference in mine. When I’m feeling down, Shoe Therapy still works for me. Shoes can be surprisingly important.
These are The Shoes! I’ve replaced the heels one from wearing them out, I could never get rid of them. My Cinderella shoes.
If you or someone you know is or may be experiencing domestic violence and you don’t know what to do, please get help. Abuse comes in many forms including mental, emotional, sexual, physical, and financial. Domestic violence occurs to 1 in 4 women in the United States; you are not alone although you may feel alone. The best thing you can do is to reach out. Reach out for support and help. I am here for you!
Sorry for my lack of posts earlier this week! Some changes at work prevented me from being able to blog. Life happens! Found these adorable sandals today. Happy hump day and Mean Girls Anniversary! (I re-watched it the day it came to Netflix, love that movie!)
Fergie Raleigh - coral, black, stone, or camel $95…but $60 on Ideeli, $75 on Amazon, $75 at DSW!
*GOING FAST!* And now back to your regularly scheduled shoe… These are almost sold out everywhere!! Lovely leather summer booties with thick straps and chunky heels. I love them in both colors, which do you like better?
BCBGeneration Doyle – black or sand $120…but get the sand at Ideeli for $75 or the black at 6pm for $77 or $83 on Amazon!
Thank you to darling Natalie Patalie for nominating me for the Liebster Award! She is doing the 100 Happy Days Challenge, she also loves musicals, books, and gaming–soo she’s basically my future BFF. And she is super sweet and funny! Check her out.
This award is great way to recognize newer bloggers! Spreading the love! Here are rules: – Nominee posts award on their blog. – Nominee links back to the nominator’s blog and of course thanks them. – Nominee answers 11 questions nominator ask of them. – Nominee then nominates 11 new bloggers they deem worthy with less than 300 followers & make sure to tell them. – Nominee poses 11 questions for their nominees to answer.
Time to answer the questions from Natalie: 1. How would you describe your blog in 3 words? sexy sale shoes
2. What’s the first thing you’d do if you won 1 million dollars? I would not believe I actually won until I possessed all of the money in some way, shape, or form…then I would freak-out inside my head for days, consumed with visions of me spending it until I grew so frightened of misspending it that I’d just leave it in the bank…with a few splurges on shoes.
3. What’s the best advice someone gave you? You can be anything and you always have to have a goal. (my mom)
4. Describe what would happen on a perfect day for you (being realistic here!) I would wakeup early to the warm morning sun and drink a fresh cup of coffee in front of my computer while writing. I’d go to the beach in the afternoon, soaking up the sun, reading, and napping in my big floppy hat. I’d come home to a healthy dinner that I didn’t have to cook, eating with my man, feeling the breeze of the warm night while we watch our favorite show or a movie. I’d cuddle with him and dog before going back to write some more. When it was time for bed, I’d jump into my fluffy comforter and sleep until fully rested.
Me in the future, livin’ the dream
5. What’s something you’re really passionate about, other than blogging? Besides shoes, I’m passionate about reading, writing, health, and empowering women. I fanatically read health books and strive to be healthier and healthier everyday. Writing is my favorite thing to do other than reading. Educating women about domestic violence and abuse is extremely important to me.
6. If you had a theme song for your life, what would it be? Well, it used to be “Ridin’ Solo” but we won’t go there…
7. Who in your life has personally influenced you the most? These people influence me so much because I want to be like them. I aspire to have my Grandma’s kindness, my Aunt’s knowledge about health & nutrition, my mom’s determination and self-reliance, my dad’s sense of humor, and my boyfriend’s temperament. If I had all these things, I might be the perfect person.
8. Where would your super secret home base be located? (Top of a mountain? Bottom of the ocean? Go Crazy!) It’d be awesome to have a secret hideaway…mine would be in another dimension, easily accessible from my home (think: The Golden Compass). Like, I’d walk into the backyard then step through a tree and wa-la! My secret woman-cave.
(No #9 – sneaky Natalie!)
10. What stereotypically nasty food do you secretly (or not so secretly) love? Brussels sprouts and meatloaf. Yuumm.
11. What’s your biggest talent? I really have no idea, but I hope it will be writing someday!
And finally, here are the questions I’d like new recipients to answer: 1. Why did you start your blog? 2. What is your favorite painting? 3. What character in a book has stayed with you and why? 4. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? 5. What would you do if money weren’t an issue? 6. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? 7. Have you ever had an unfortunate experience that at the time felt life-shattering (literally or melodramatically) but now you’re (almost) thankful it happened? 8. What is the first thing you notice about someone you’re attracted to (be honest!)? 9. What are you really really scared of? Phobias? 10. What’s your favorite TV series at the moment? 11. Flats or heels?
These beautiful elegant wedges are my favorite in silver, but the other colors are nice too. There is just enough shimmer and metallic pieces to make these stand out, but remain classy.
Elaine Turner Alissa – champagne, black, or silver $325…but only $120 on Ideeli!
